 WILL THE ARTISTS BE ONBOARD FOR THE WHOLE CRUISE?

Yes. All of our artists will be joining you for the full cruise, and performing onboard the ship. However, there may be some cases where an artist needs to join us during the cruise or depart early due to a scheduling conflict or other family commitment.


WILL THE ARTISTS BE SIGNING AUTOGRAPHS/TAKING PHOTOS WITH GUESTS?

Some artists will be doing a few formal photo sessions, which will be announced, in more detail, as we get closer to sailing. Any additional autographs, photos or other interactions will be at each band/artist’s discretion.


HOW MANY SHOWS WILL THE ARTISTS PLAY?

Def Leppard will be performing a main Theater Performance for each guest (in 2 separate showings), a “Storytellers” Performance as well as a Def Leppard Q&A. Other artists will be playing at least once, with some performing multiple times.


HOW WILL SEATS BE ASSIGNED AND WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY SEAT ASSIGNMENT?

Theatre seating will be determined by the laminate you receive on board. VIP guests will be given special credentials and early access to the theatre performances.

WHAT CAN WE DO WHEN GOING ASHORE?

Shore excursions will be available for purchase approximately 30-60 days prior to our sail date.


WHAT IF I WANT TO GAMBLE AWAY ALL MY MONEY AT SEA…IS THERE A CASINO?

Yes, feel free to gamble from sun up to sun down as the beautiful MSC Divina has a casino featuring slot machines, blackjack, roulette, bingo and much more! Please keep in mind that MSC is required to close the casino (as well as other shops onboard) while we are in port.


WHEN WILL WE KNOW THE SCHEDULE OF EVENTS?

We will release the schedule of concerts and events about one week before the sailing. Please know that this is not something we do to torture you…but the schedule is a delicate balancing act and we want to be sure we have made every necessary change before we release it to you. We don’t want you to miss anything due to having an incomplete or altered schedule!


AM I GOING TO STARVE ON BOARD?

Not a chance! The MSC Divina offers many dining options including two sit-down dining rooms, The Black Crab and The Villa Rossa. Each dining room is included in the cost of your fare at no additional charge (except for drinks from the bar). Dishes range from traditional and tasty Mediterranean fare, to the most refined international recipes.

For a quick breakfast, lunch or dinner option, choose Buffet on Deck 14, offering the utmost quality and variety in Italian and international cuisine.  The buffet will be open practically 24 hours a day during the cruise.


ARE THERE SPECIAL DIETS AVAILABLE?

MSC Cruises will make every effort to meet special dietary requests for vegetarian, diabetic, low fat, low-sodium, or low-cholesterol diets. Kosher meals are available for an additional charge. They are prepackaged (frozen) and must be requested in advance. For any additional dietary needs please contact us via email at: reservations@defleppardcruise.com. Please request at the time of making your reservation and confirm with the Maitre D’ on the day of embarkation.


I CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT MY CELL PHONE…WILL I BE ABLE TO USE MY CELL PHONE ON BOARD?

Yes, you can use your cell phone. But you will incur international roaming charges while at sea, so be sure to check with your carrier for rates. Ask about adding an international/caribbean plan for the time period of the cruise. MSC Cruises doesn’t institute any additional fees or charges associated with cell phone usage while onboard. Remember to pack your phone charger!


IS THERE INTERNET SERVICE? WIRELESS??

Yes. There is a 24-hour Internet Café onboard. Each of the ship’s staterooms are outfitted with wireless access access is available in several areas throughout the ship. Ethernet cables are available at the reception desk. Internet usage rates will be available onboard.

HOW DO I PAY FOR THINGS ON THE SHIP?

For your convenience, a cashless system is provided that allows you to sign for all of your onboard purchases (with the exception of the casino, Def Leppard Cruise event merchandise or band merchandise – please see below). At embarkation, you will need to present your credit or debit card (MSC accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover) to receive your MSC Cruise Card, which will serve as your identification, stateroom key and charge card onboard the ship.

You may also open a MSC Cruise Card with a deposit of $150-$200 deposit ($300 for families consisting of 2 adults and 2 children), which can be made using cash or travelers checks. Personal checks and credit cards other than those listed above are not accepted. When your onboard purchases exceed your deposit, the deposit must be replenished before you can continue to make charges. If at the end of your cruise your deposit exceeds the amount of your purchases, the difference will be returned to you.


I RAN OUT OF CASH GAMBLING. ARE THERE ATM’S ONBOARD?

No, there are no ATM’s onboard the Divina. So you have to plan ahead if you are going to gamble in the casino, or pay with cash at the Def Leppard merchandise store or at the port stops. You will be able to get cash advances from the Pursers office once onboard. Def Leppard Cruise event merchandise and other band merchandise can be purchased with cash only.


DO I NEED TO TIP FOR ANYTHING DURING THE CRUISE?

A gratuity charge of $12 per person per day for the maître d’ and his assistants, your waiter and busboys, buffet staff, stateroom attendants, room service and bellboys will automatically be added to your onboard account.

Casino dealers and spa personnel are not included, since not all guests will utilize those services. A gratuity for bar services and servers will be included on all bar checks, added to the price of your drinks.


HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO DRINK ALCOHOL ON THE CRUISE?

Alcoholic beverages will not be sold or served to anyone under the age of 21. The Def Leppard Cruise, On the Blue, Inc. and MSC reserve the right to refuse the sale of alcoholic beverages to anyone. Please refer to ShipBoard Etiquette.


CAN I SMOKE ON THE SHIP?

MSC Cruises has introduced throughout its fleet a “Clean Air” policy, which will allow both smokers and non-smokers to enjoy their holidays on board in mutual respect. There are a few areas where smokers are welcome, but the majority of indoor and outdoor spaces are now non-smoking.

Smoking is NOT allowed in cabins or on balconies. The rest of the ship is therefore totally smoke-free, for the benefit of non-smokers. Please refer to ShipBoard Etiquette.


ARE THERE HAIR DRYERS AND IRONS PROVIDED IN THE CABINS?

All staterooms have hair dryers. Staterooms do not have irons in them. However, please use the laundry/drying cleaning service for all of your pressing needs.


IS LAUNDRY SERVICE AVAILABLE?

While the ship does not have self-service laundry, they do offer laundry, dry cleaning and pressing service for a nominal charge.


ARE THERE ANY BABYSITTING SERVICES ONBOARD?

No, MSC does not currently offer Babysitting.


ARE THERE ACTIVITIES AVAILABLE FOR CHILDREN ONBOARD THE SHIP?

Yes. MSC’s complimentary kid’s program is divided into three age levels:

MINI CLUB – 3 to 8 years old

JUNIORS CLUB – 9 to 12 years old

TEENAGERS CLUB – all teenagers

The MSC staff organizes activities, shows and games (Arts & Crafts, Dance, Painting Courses, Treasure Hunts, Mini-Olympics). The dedicated kids room is open to children up to ten years of age. Children under three are only permitted when accompanied by an adult who must remain with the child at all times. The kids room is available during shore excursions. The MSC Divina has a designated children’s pool and outdoor area. The ship also features video games in an arcade.

Please note that the activities vary by the number and ages of the children onboard.


ARE CRIBS AND/OR ROLLAWAY BEDS AVAILABLE?

Cribs are available, however, we must be notified 2 months prior to sailing of the request for a crib. Due to maritime law, however, each cabin is capacity controlled and rollaway beds are not allowed.

*Infants under six (6) months of age are not permitted to sail.


ARE THERE MEDICAL SERVICES ONBOARD?

A physician and nurse are on each ship to provide medical care and services at customary charges. These charges will be billed to your onboard account.

Commonly used medications are kept on board and may be prescribed by the ship’s doctor.
